Drake Reportedly Created His Own Security Firm Amid Trespassing Concerns

Drake reportedly founded his own security firm that exclusively protects his Toronto home, The Embassy. According to a CBC News Report, the Canadian news outlet investigated Jungle Lion Security, which was present when Drake’s security guard was shot. A deeper investigation of the company’s vehicle license plates on the Ontario Transportation Ministry records list shows Drake as the registered owner under his birth name, Aubrey D. Graham.

The white Nissan also carries a misleading slogan, which reads, “Canada’s #1 provider of security services.” CBC reached out to the number listed on the vehicle to receive a comment on Jungle Lion’s operation, but all of the attempts went unanswered. VIBE dug deeper into the company’s online presence to which a LinkedIn profile was found. The account tracks the company to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. However, there isn’t a logo for the company or any real activity; it only has 3 followers.

Elsewhere in the CBC’s video report, the outlet detailed that the only other person legally involved in the firm is Nessel Beezer, the man better known as Chubbs. Fans may know him from the numerous Drake songs he’s namedropped in, like “The Motion” or even Kendrick Lamar’s latest diss aimed at Drizzy, “Euphoria.”

Other documents show Chubbs’ involvement with Jungle Lion goes beyond security, including a company called Jungle Lion Management, which was used to run a now-closed sports bar in downtown Toronto called Pick 6ix, which had ties to Drizzy, according to Now Toronto.

The report arrived a week after The Embassy was at the center of a couple of alarming events. On Tuesday (May 7), CBC reported that a shooting occurred in the early hours of the day. The official Toronto Police Operations X account reported that the shooting transpired on Bayview E and Lawrence Ave E at 2:09 a.m. The security guard who was shot was transported to the hospital.

Then, on Wednesday (May 8), a third person attempted to breach the rapper’s home. Authorities were phoned and arrived on the scene at 2 PM, detaining the intruder. “The person was apprehended under the Mental Health Act,” Toronto’s CityNews reported via a police spokesperson.
