Drake Protects Himself From Stage Crasher, Calls Out Security For Being “Slow As F**k”

Drake was recently involved in a playful altercation with a fan who approached him onstage during a stop on his It’s All A Blur Tour.

In a clip of the exchange that surfaced on social media, Drake can be seen speaking to the crowd as he notices a man walking towards him onstage. As the attendee attempts shake Drake’s hand, the rapper slightly shoves the concertgoer away with one arm, causing the man to move a few feet back.

However, he then gives the man a handshake, who puts his arm around Drake’s back as he ushers him towards the edge of the stage. Displeased with security’s lack of interference in keeping the fan from coming on the stage, the 36-year-old then questioned why the guards present at the concert weren’t securing his safety.

“Y’all not doing security out here?” he asks while walking the fan towards the crowd. “You not doing security?” As a guard forcefully grabs the stage crasher, Drake highlights the security’s delayed actions once again. “Boy, you slow as f**k,” the OVO boss commented before resuming the show. The It’s All A Blur Tour has included numerous interactions between Drake and his fans, from women tossing lingerie onstage to waking sleeping concertgoers in the crowd in the middle of his set.

The Canadian star recently confirmed rumors that his new album For All the Dogs will be released this month, marking Sept. 22 as the date. He also announced that the LP will be preceded by a lead single that’s due to drop this week. “I’m even going to say something tonight in Austin, Texas, I haven’t said yet,” Drake said on Monday (Sept. 11) during the first of his two concerts in the city. “I know y’all excited to hear the album. I know it’s, like two weeks out. I’mma drop a song for y’all this week… I appreciate y’all. Deeply, by the way, I do. It’s a lot of love in Texas.”

The remaining stops on Drake’s It’s All A Blur Tour include Dallas (Sept. 14-15), Houston (Sept. 17-18), Atlanta (Sept. 25-26), Miami (Sept. 28-29), Nashville (Oct. 1-2), Toronto (Oct. 6-7), and a finale show in Columbus, Ohio, on Oct. 9. Dates for postponed shows in Denver and New Orleans have yet to be announced.
