What happened to the “game I love?”
Whenever there is a hip-hop beef, there’s always a possibility that the MCs who are at odds will drop some fire music in the process. Metro posted that message nearly two weeks ago on Dec. 2, and fans seemed to initially find it fishy that someone of his stature would post something like that—especially about Drake, with whom he’s worked closely in the past.
Lest we forget that Metro was also the architect behind the beloved collaborative project from Drake and Future, “What a Time to be Alive.”
But Drake, who is known to pay attention to everything that is said about him, seemingly responded to the popular trap producer during a three-hour livestream with Stake.

When Drake said the “tweet and deleters,” social media commentators felt it feels pretty obvious that he’s talking about Metro. Metro apparently caught wind of his comments and tweeted his own response to the slight a few hours later that seemingly told Drake to “calm down.”

In all honesty, some might agree with Metro’s initial claim about his latest studio album, “Heroes & Villains,” being among the best rap releases a year ago. “Her Loss,” of course was also good in its own right. But why did Metro single out that album in the first place?
Only time will tell in this burgeoning beef.
Fan reactions to Drake Dissing Metro Boomin
On Black Twitter, hip-hop fans also wondered why Drake and Metro Boom were seemingly beefing and why now—especially since they both are associated with many of the same artists such as Future, 21 Savage, and Lil Yachty.
Here are a few of their reactions below.

Metro Boomin vs Drake not even interesting because a producer beefing with a rapper can’t even go anywhere. Nothing worthwhile even coming from this

Worst part of Metro and Drake beefing is that Metro got full custody of Future 💔
