Drake Hints Response To Kendrick’s “Euphoria” Is Coming During Nicki Minaj Show: “You Know What I Gotta Do”

On Tuesday (April 30), Nicki Minaj brought out her brethren in music, Drake, as a surprise guest during the second night in Toronto of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

Drizzy touched down in his hometown to a roaring applause as he performed the collaborative effort, “Needle” with Minaj for the first time, and gave fans a live set of “Rich Baby Daddy.”

However, his performance with his Young Money labelmate didn’t stop him from addressing the elephant in the stadium: Kendrick Lamar’s recent “Euphoria” diss to him.

“I love you so much. You know what time it is, you know what I gotta do,” he said as he exited the stage, insinuating that his response is coming.

The iconic rapstress also gave the hit-maker-record-breaker his flowers, dubbing him the “King of Toronto” and “a legend.” Drake met her praises with a kiss on the cheek.

Minaj also took to her Instagram with a carousel of photos from their surprise set and described the moment as “magical.”

“#GagcityTORONTO NIGHT 2 was a magical moment in time that I’ll never forget. I REALLY freaking LOVE you guys!!!!!!!!,” she captioned her post. “Imagine having a crowd with incredible energy, then in walks the SUPERSTAR of ALL SUPERSTARS. The GENIUS we call DRAKE. Thank you @champagnepapi -nostalgic isn’t even the word.”

She added, “Wow. We’re really doing everything we used to talk about, dream about, worry about…. Love 4 LIFE.”

Additionally, the “FTCU” star took to X a day after Kendrick’s drop of “Euphoria” (May 1) to shout out the 6 God again.

“Looking through my DRICKI pics & they came out so cute. Awwwwwwwww,” she wrote. “He made me so happy tonight by coming out. Them screams be REAL different when the boy touch down chi. Posting some IG content shortly.”
