Drake Enlists Morgan Wallen For “You Broke My Heart” Music Video

Drake and country music star Morgan Wallen meet up for a meal, disrupted by their former romantic partners in the music video for “You Broke My Heart.” Grace Matthews and Taylor Morris co-star in the creative visual as the ex-girlfriends on a violent mission.
“I didn’t like her. I think she might have been the wrong girl anyway,” explained Wallen.
“Well, what now?” responds Drake, before the destruction begins.
Directed by Theo Skudra, the two chart-topping musicians leave the restaurant, only to have their vehicle blown up by Matthews and Morris. The ladies, pleased by their actions, dance around and rap the song’s heartsick lyrics before being approached by law enforcement.
“You Broke My Heart” comes from Drake’s For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition released in November after the initial For All the Dogs dropped in October. The release continues the Toronto representative’s Scary Hours series, with the release of the first two installments in 2018 and 2021.
For All The Dogs album includes features from J. Cole, SZA, Teezo Touchdown, 21 Savage, Yeat, Bad Bunny, Lil Yachty, Sexyy Red, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Chief Keef. The release could signal a slowdown from Drake, as hinted by the rapper before the Scary Hours edition dropped.
“I need to get right, I have a lot of other things that I would love to focus on. So I’ma lock the door on the studio for a little bit, I don’t even know what a little bit is. Maybe a year or so, maybe a little longer,” explained the Grammy Award-winning performer.
