Drake’s latest effort For All The Dogs is projected to take the top spot on the Billboard 200, which would be the 36-year-old’s 13th album to reach No. 1 on the chart.

According to Hits Daily Double, For All The Dogs is predicted to sell anywhere from 400,000 to 450,000 album-equivalent units in its first week of release. That would mark Drake’s best first week return since 2021’s Certified Lover Boy, which sold over 600,000 units.

According to those projections, For All The Dogs would be the fourth best-selling debut of the year, following Taylor Swift’s Speak Now, Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time, and Travis Scott’s UTOPIA. However, For All The Dogs could possibly surpass UTOPIA in first week sales, as Scott’s long-awaited fourth studio album topped out at 477K, which remains an attainable figure for the 6 God.

In addition to scoring his 13th No. 1 album, Drake is also predicted to nab the No. 1 single on the Hot 100 with “First Person Shooter,” his For All The Dogs collaboration with J. Cole. The song would account for his 13th chart-topper on the Billboard Hot 100, tying him with pop icon Michael Jackson’s record 13 No. 1’s, the most by a male solo artist in music history. It would also mark J. Cole’s first No. 1 record on the Hot 100 to date.

Released on Friday (Oct. 6) following multiple delays, For All The Dogs was led by “Slime You Out” featuring SZA, his 12th song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album, which has been subject to mixed reviews by fans and pundits alike, includes guest appearances by Teezo Touchdown, 21 Savage, Yeat, PartyNextDoor, Chief Keef, Bad Bunny, Sexyy Red, and Lil Yachty.
