Drake Bell says he saw his sexual abuser Brian Peck with young teens after prison release

"He was just right back to what he was doing," the "Drake & Josh" star said.

Drake Bell’s abuser Brian Peck spent time in prison for sexually assaulting him as a teenager — but the Nickelodeon star says it didn’t stop the registered sex offender from interacting with minors in the future.

In an interview with La Entrevista con Yordi Rosado, the Drake & Josh star discussed a troubling encounter he had with Peck after the convicted child molester was released from prison. “He was hanging out on set, working, going to parties, being around Hollywood, like nothing happened,” Bell said. “I remember one time I saw him at a restaurant, and he was at the table with 10 or 12 male actors between the ages of 14 and 16, and I walked in, and saw him, and saw that he was just right back to what he was doing, and turned around and left.”

“When he got out, he was a registered offender, a registered sex offender for crimes against a child, and he went right back to work on the Disney Channel, on Fox — all these companies just hired him again,” Bell continued.

Peck’s IMDb lists credits as a dialogue coach on FX’s Anger Management as recently as 2013. He also worked as an actor on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Bedtime Stories, and numerous other projects throughout the 2000s and 2010s after his prison stint.

Bell detailed the “extensive” abuse he survived from Peck for the first time in the Investigation Discovery documentary series Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, which premiered on March 17. Bell’s John Doe case led to Peck’s arrest in 2003 and subsequent conviction in 2004, as the dialogue coach pleaded no contest to charges of committing a lewd act against a child and was sentenced to 16-months in prison.

Bell will return to Quiet on Set for a follow-up episode on April 7. The fifth episode of the docuseries will see former Nickelodeon stars react to the first four episodes of Quiet on Set and discuss their vision for a safer future in Hollywood for young performers. Additionally, the new episode will see multiple Nick stars interact on-camera for the first time, as the first four episodes only featured individual interviews with participants.

The first four episodes of Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV are streaming on Max. The fifth episode will premiere on ID at 8 p.m. on April 7.
