Drake allegedly paid a rapper $150K for any information on Kendrick Lamar’s fiancée, Whitney Alford, and he’s exposing how it all went down. The Art of Dialogue shared the audio circulated around the internet on Sunday (May 12) which saw Coolee Bravo, a rapper reportedly associated with K. Dot, speak about the offer. Bravo detailed his confusion regarding the request and asserted that he would never turn his back on a fellow countryman for “a Canadian outsider.” But he revealed that he did cooperate to a certain extent: Bravo claims to have taken the money and fed Drizzy’s camp false information regarding Whitney and Kendrick’s relationship.

“[Drake] sent some ni**as to Atlanta not knowing—See, this is why I say Kendrick f**ked him up bad,” Bravo said as he began laughing. “He tried to come down here and get some information on Kendrick… I can’t get no information on Kendrick because I’m only tied to his friend named L.”

He went on, “So they come to me and they try to give one of my little homies $100,000. I say, ‘What they asking for?’ and they say, ‘They wanna know something about Kendrick… what do you know about Whitney and all that sh*t?’ [I said to myself] ‘Whitney is [in New York] with [Kendrick] but mind you that’s a bombshell—they don’t know that. Drake talking all that sh*t about, ‘Why you live in New York?’ I said, ‘Ohhhh, they stupid.’ So, I said, ‘Take the money, I’m a tell them a lie.'”

Bravo continued and claimed that he told them that the DAMN rapper was still in Los Angeles, separated from Whitney. He then claimed that they gave him the money, and then he shared $50,000 “with his ni**as.” Coolee then explained that when “Family Matters” dropped, he and his friends listened to the song and laughed, calling Drake “stupid.”

It should be noted that Coolee Bravo’s X/Twitter account was deleted on Monday (May 13) following his claims.

DJ Akademiks has described “Family Matters” as the “nuclear option,” the song that was supposedly supposed to end the Drake-Kendrick Lamar feud in the former’s favor. “Family Matters” served as a response to Lamar’s “Euphoria” and “6:16 in LA.” The track’s main thematic points accused K. Dot of using Baby Keem as his ghostwriter, cheating on his fiancée, allegedly assaulting Whitney, and claiming that Dave Free is the actual father of Kendrick’s kids.

But as we all know now, Lamar would release “Meet the Grahams” thirty minutes after “Family Matters” and snuff out any momentum Drake thought he had.
