‘Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’ Brings Goku’s Story To Life Early 2020

“Dragon Ball Z: Karakot” will launch in early 2020, it was announced on Sunday during the official Xbox E3 press conference.

In development from studio CyberConnect 2 – best known for its work on the .hack and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series – and Bandai Namco, the new action RPG promises the “most dramatic and epic telling of the Dragon Ball Z” story, with players set to experience the story through the eyes of Kakarot, better known as Goku.

Until now “Kakarot” the game has been known only by its working title “Dragon Ball Game – Project Z”.

In addition to Goku, the game will feature Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, and more characters from the series. For those who grew up watching “Dragon Ball Z,” the television show from the 90s which tells the story of the magical Dragon Balls, this new game offers a chance to experience a familiar story from a new perspective.
