Drag Queens Nail Ariana Grande, Joan Crawford, and More With Impersonations
This week’s episode of RuPaul’s All-Star Drag Race had the contestants dressing up as famous femmes for a version of the classic game show Match Game. Although, in RuPaul’s world, the name of the game is Snatch Game.
It was an opportunity for the all-stars to have fun and joke around with their celebrity characters. Tatianna transformed into pop star Ariana Grande, while Katya went with a very different kind of singer, Björk.
Two contestants impersonated women from the golden age: Alyssa Edwards played Joan Crawford and Alaska killed with one-liners as Mae West. Rounding out the group were Ginger Minj as Tammy Faye Baker, Detox as Nancy Grace, and Phi Phi O’Hara as the Long Island medium Theresa Caputo.
Unfortunately for Tatianna, her Grande impression was not big enough, and she was told by RuPaul to “sashay away.”
RuPaul’s All-Star Drag Race airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. on Logo TV.
