Dr. Phil Reveals Guest’s Internet Fiancé Doesn’t Exist ‘Anywhere On Planet Earth’

Patsy says she met John Robert Crush online eight months ago and fell madly in love with the man who told her he was an engineer working in Cairo, Egypt.

Since then, her family says, Patsy has racked up massive debt sending money to John, whom she has never met in person. Her sister, Linda, contacted Dr. Phil to ask his help in convincing Patsy that John is a catfish before the sale of her home is complete, and she sends him the proceeds.

TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: I’m living a nightmare!

Patsy defends John, insisting he is “real.” She says it’s none of her family’s business what she does with her life, and she just wants them to “butt out.” She says she and John will be married once he is able to travel to the U.S., asserting she intends to help him “anyway I can.”

Dr. Phil enlists the help of Egyptian television host, Adham El Kamouny, in an attempt to find out whether John is living in Cairo, but he’s nowhere to be found.

Presenting additional research to Patsy, Dr. Phil tells her, “John Robert Crush does not exist anywhere on planet Earth, not in the United States, not in Europe, not in Germany, not in Russia, not in Africa, not in Cairo.”

He continues, “The only John Robert Crush we found we dug until we got his death certificate. And here it is, full name, John Robert Crush, date of death: Feb. 2, 1929. Date of birth: Nov. 10, 1858, location, Indiana. We did our homework. This guy is a fiction. He does not exist.”

Does Patsy accept the evidence she’s been given? And what advice does Dr. Phil give her to help safeguard herself and her assets in the future?
