Dr. Phil says the bonkers $5.75M home owned by his trust has been sold

Remember the bizarre home owned by Dr. Phil McGraw’s trust that went on the market last month?

McGraw revealed Wednesday on The Talk that the $5.75 million property sold quickly, “in like 10 hours,” thanks to all the buzz.

However, he noted that some of the news stories about it were misleading.

“Number one, it is not my house,” McGraw said. “I’ve never spent a night in that house.”

He confirmed that his son, Jordan McGraw, lived in the Beverly Hills, Calif., home.

The elder McGraw also clarified the meaning of the guns visible on one wall.

“That is an anti-gun display. Those are guns covered up in black tar wax, by an artist that said we should melt all of these guns down,” the host of TV’s Dr. Phil said. “That’s a meltdown gun wall display under glass.”

The luxurious 6,170 square feet property, located minutes from the storied Beverly Hills Hotel, features five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Other perks, including a private balcony, a pool, a recording studio and a spa were advertised, too.

In September 2015, Jordan, who’s a musician, explained to the Daily Mail that the look of the place was inspired by the films of director Tim Burton, who helmed Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, among many others.

“The whole place, the idea is kind of Tim Burton threw up on a canvas and it turned into a house,” he said.
