Dr. Phil Helps Man Visualize How His Life Is Passing By – And Why Now Is The Time To Make A Change

Lori and Bob say they are living among piles of stuff – but they don’t consider themselves hoarders. They say they never unpacked after they moved into their home seven years ago, and have dirty dishes in the kitchen sink, boxes and bags filling up their rooms, and a smoke detector that’s been beeping for two years because they can’t get to it to change the batteries. The couple says the home is causing them a lot of distress, and they’d like to sell it and buy a camper to travel and visit friends, but Bob never has time to clean it up, and Lori can’t do it on her own. Dr. Phil asks Bob to stand on an oversized number line onstage so he can see how much of his life has passed and how much he has left – and why now is the time to make a change. See Bob’s reaction in the video above. On Wednesday’s episode, "Buried Alive in Clutter," find out how Dr. Phil offers to help the couple. Check local listings to see where you can watch.
