Adam claims he’s a sex addict whose impulses became so out of control that he exposed himself to his mother-in-law, Wendy, multiple times over four years.

Adam’s wife, Whitney, says she only recently learned about the episodes, and can’t believe her mother didn’t tell her about them. Wendy says she was afraid to tell Whitney because she thought her daughter wouldn’t believe her.

Wendy adamantly denies Adam’s allegation that she willingly watched him touch himself, and even participated on one occasion. “I didn’t know what to do,” she says when asked why she allowed Adam’s behavior to go on for four years.

“You walk away! You get out, you move, you tell your daughter, you do whatever,” says Dr. Phil. “You do something, but you don’t just get some popcorn and sit there.”
