Downtown Bristol’s Sounds of Summer kicks off June 4

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) — Downtown Bristol’s “Sounds of Summer” concert series will kick off on June 4 with the Loose Strings Band of Galax, Va., the city announced in a release.

Sounds of Summer will take place every Tuesday and Thursday during June, July and August. Admission is free and the event is family-friendly.

Tuesday nights will feature bluegrass, while Thursdays are reserved for country and southern rock. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.

Concerts will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. outdoors at 810 State Street in Bristol. Inclement weather could alter this schedule, and updates on any weather changes can be found by calling 423-217-1550.
