The Victor Valley is expected to get back-to-back rain storms, with the first arriving over the weekend.

The first Pacific storm system should move into Southern California late Saturday and into Sunday morning, the National Weather Service reported. The storm is expected to bring rain to the area and snow above the 7,000-foot level in place like the San Bernardino and San Gabriel mountains.

A flood watch has been issued for late Saturday throughout San Bernardino County. A wind advisory has also been issued from Saturday afternoon to Sunday evening for Apple Valley and Lucerne Valley.

The second storm, expected Sunday night through Tuesday afternoon, comes with a winter storm warning.

The storm may bring heavy rain to the area and snow above the 4,500-foot level. The Victor Valley is expected to receive about 0.5 inches of rain after both storms pass.

The rain is expected to spread out through Tuesday, with occasional moderate to heavy rain possible, the NWS reported.

Saturday through Tuesday, 50 degrees should be the average daily high temperature locally, with lows in the high 30s and low 40s.
