Double BOOM! Twin Ohio offensive lineman commit to Ohio State

Fresh off visits to Columbus, Devontae and Deontae Armstrong again received a feel for what it would be like to continue their playing careers at Ohio State.

It didn’t take them long to make a decision about what was next. The short weekend trip confirmed their feelings and on Monday morning the twins announced their commitments to head coach Ryan Day and offensive line coach Justin Frye.

Deontae is rated as the No. 25 offensive tackle in the country and the 313th overall player by the 247Sports composite. Devontae is ranked as an interior lineman, ranking as 23rd-best in the country, and 353rd overall player.

Deontae announced the decision first, but his brother followed shortly afterward.

The twins join a 2024 class that has grown to six, including four offensive linemen. (Ian Moore and Marc Nave) are the other offensive linemen.
