Back in 2020, Paul "PK" Kemsley revealed his incredible teeth transformation at the hands of Dr. Sam Saleh. Around the same time, Dorit Kemsley went in for a smile tweak of her own. And in the August 10 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, we got a closer look at the couple's before-and-after photos and we learned more about why they each opted for veneers.

"About two years ago, PK decided to get his teeth done. PK is like basically smiling all the time now," Dorit said in the episode. "So I had to get my teeth done. I mean, you're not a real couple unless you do your teeth together."

In July 2020, Dorit shared more about her decision on Instagram. "I’ve only ever known what’s it like to have straight teeth. I was so fortunate my whole life, I never needed braces and I took good care of my teeth so didn’t have many cavities. I was warned by my dentists all growing up that I would need to wear a night guard because of excessive grinding at night but the thought didn’t appeal to me so I never did anything about it," she explained.

She continued, "As the years went on I would notice my teeth looked smaller and smaller and I started to have sensitivity which became increasingly more uncomfortable over time. Each dentist I saw over the last few years said the same to me that I had grinded my teeth down to point where veneers were inevitable."

In the August 10 episode, Dorit also shared more about her work for the Homeless Not Toothless charity, and how Dr. Saleh was getting involved by donating a smile to a person in need. "Sharon Stone and I used to be neighbors," Dorit explained. "When she got involved with Homeless Not Toothless, she knocked on my door and said, 'This is a great charity. You should really look into it.' And so I did. It was a charity that didn't have a lot of attention and so I felt like I could do something to bring even more awareness."
