It may have been a “difficult year” in Dorit Kemsley and Paul “PK” Kemsley’s marriage, but one thing that didn’t change is their unwavering love for their kids, son, Jagger, and daughter, Phoenix.

Like any other loving parents, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple want only the best for their little ones, including a good education. However, Dorit and PK found themselves at odds when discussing their children’s future on the recent episode of RHOBH.

Dorit Kemsley’s conversation with PK about their kids

On Season 13, Episode 7 of RHOBH, which aired on December 7, Dorit and PK discussed whether they should continue Jagger and Phoenix’s home education program.

“You know I wanted to talk to you about homeschooling. I know how you feel about it,” Dorit explained before PK interrupted and said, “Baby, you know my view on this – I brought up three kids before I met you.”

He continued, “School and mixing with kids and being part of the whole environment is enormously important for their growth, and I know with you, you’ll keep them in homeschool until they’re 18.”

Dorit immediately shut down her husband’s claim and reassured she would only want to keep the youngsters at home until their early teenage years.

With PK standing firm on his decision to want their kids to begin public school, Dorit counterargued that her husband would be considerate about letting Jagger and Phoenix stay home if he was present more.

Dorit Kemsley balances parenthood with her PTSD struggles

Continuing in their candid conversation, PK mentioned how Dorit's 2021 home invasion and struggles with PTSD are part of the problem of why she doesn’t want to let their kids attend school.

“Dorit, I understand you have been through a really traumatic thing, and also you have a lot of fear in you… point is a lot of this is coming from your need and desire for those kids to be with you and close to you at all times,” PK said to his wife.
