Dorinda Medley has nothing but love for her former Real Housewives of New York City costar Tinsley Mortimer.

The host of SiriusXM's Make It Nice with Dorinda Medley appeared on Sunday's episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where she was asked by a caller about the news of Mortimer's engagement to Augusta, Georgia businessman Robert Bovard.

"I’m just so happy she’s not with Scott," Medley, 58, said in response, referring to Scott Kluth, the Coupon Cabin CEO, whom dated Mortimer during her time on Bravo.

Mortimer had a serious of famously tense arguments with Medley over her romance to Kluth, even leaving RHONY in season 12 to escape the drama and moved to Chicago to be with the CouponCabin CEO. To the former couple got engaged in November 2019, but split fourteen months later — Kluth telling PEOPLE at the time, "I will always care about Tinsley and I sincerely wish her happiness and success in all that she does in the future."

Though a source close to Mortimer at the time told PEOPLE she was "blindsided" by the split and "on the floor heartbroken and devastated," Medley told Andy Cohen on Sunday that Mortimer and Kluth's breakup "was the best thing that ever happened."

"I saw that coming, which was the whole point," said Medley, explaining why she had clashed with Mortimer on camera.

But the bad blood between the two RHONY alums is now long gone. "Now she’s with, I heard, a really great guy and she’s happy," shared Medley. "So I’m very happy for her."

Luann de Lesseps, who was also on WWHL, echoed the well-wishes.

News broke on Oct. 17 that Mortimer and Bouvard were heading down the aisle, a rep for the reality star confirming the engagement to PEOPLE. The two are said to tie the knot in Palm Beach, Florida, on Nov. 11 after Bovard proposed to Mortimer with an emerald ring.

Mortimer teased the nuptials just a few days prior with the debut of her new beau on her Instagram Story, though his identity had yet to be revealed at the time.

“Family vacay before the big day!” she wrote across her Instagram Story, which included two girls and a boy with emojis covering their faces. It was unclear if she was referring to the wedding as “the big day" in the text.

According to his LinkedIn page, Bovard currently serves as the president of Augusta Iron & Steel Works, Inc. in Georgia. He was previously married to Mary Dial Bovard for 12 years before she died in 2021 from a brain tumor, according to her obituary. They welcomed three children.
