Dorinda Medley doesn’t take her Berkshires mansion for granted, but admits the upkeep can sometimes be difficult.

“I am so thankful to be a caretaker of such a magical, loving, and happy place,” she wrote in an April 13 Instagram post, where she also confirmed her relationship status. “It’s not alway[s] easy as a single [woman] but I do it proudly.”

The Real Housewives of New York City and Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip alum posted several photos of the home’s interior, showcasing its grand fireplace, an extravagant peacock figurine, and her dramatic table decor. Dorinda also reflected on the great times she’s had at the property, which her late husband purchased about 18 years ago.

“It’s hard to believe Richard [Medley] bought this house in 2005 as my wedding gift,” she wrote. “Our hopes and dreams were so different then. Now almost 20 years later I feel (and Richard) have made Bluestone Manor so proud [sic].”

Dorinda's Marriage to Richard Medley

Dorinda and Richard enjoyed six years of marriage before he died in 2011. Several years after the loss, Dorinda began dating John Mahdessian, the owner of the high-end dry cleaner Madame Paulette. The pair's relationship was documented throughout Dorinda's RHONY run; however, they eventually called it quits in 2019.

Here's Why Dorinda Medley Ended Her Relationship with John Mahdessian

The History of Bluestone Manor

Bravo fans are quite familiar with the 11,000-square-foot estate, as it’s been regularly featured on RHONY. Viewers got their first look at the Tudor-style home during Season 7 when Dorinda hosted an intimate getaway for her castmates. At one point during the episode, Dorinda asked her fellow Housewives to brainstorm potential names for the property. And it was RHONY alum Carole Radziwill who ultimately suggested Blue Stone Manor after drawing inspiration from the home's foundation.

Blue Stone Manor has become one of the most iconic locations within the Bravo-verse, as it's been the subject of various magazine features and home tour videos, and was even the destination for RHUGT Season 2.

“She has hosted endless sleepovers, dinners, friends and parties that have brought laughter and love,” Dorinda said about Blue Stone Manor. “She protected us during Covid, and most importantly she allowed me to be close to my parents 2 miles away. I am so thankful to be a caretaker of such a magical, loving, and happy place … I thank you all so much for loving her as much as I do!”

Dorinda's New Family Member

Days before the appreciation post, Dorinda shared a photo of the new baby in her life. The pictures, which were posted right before the holiday weekend, showed Dorinda sitting on the floor as she gleefully held an infant. Though she didn’t confirm her relationship with the adorable baby, she suggested it was a relative of her late husband.

“Looks like Easter Bunny came early,” she wrote in the caption. “Richard is looking down on us and is so so proud!”

Why Dorinda Left RHONY

After joining RHONY in Season 7, Dorinda stepped away from the show following Season 12. After she stepped away, her "on pause" status became a hot topic. She also appeared on Season 2 of RHUGT, which took place at her home in th Berkshires, and featured other Ex-wives.
