'Saltburn' Just Revealed Its Streaming DateEsquire

Saltburn might be the most divisive (and fascinating) film of the year. Since its premiere on November 17, the Internet has been obsessed with decoding the mysterious plot, zany characters, and yes, the tub scene. The thing is, Saltburn is one of those movies that’s impossible to understand until you see it, and soon, you’ll be able to tune in from the comfort of your home thanks to Amazon Prime.

Before we get to that, here’s what you should know. Saltburn is a perplexing tale about male friendship and the lengths one will go to keep it. The film follows Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan), a social misfit who begins studying at Oxford and finds it difficult to fit in. Oliver’s luck changes when he befriends campus superstar, Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi). Their relationship appears normal until Felix invites Oliver to spend time at his family's estate—we won't spoil anything more, but that’s when things take a turn.

Saltburn has been in theaters since November 17, but thankfully, it's heading to a television near you. On Monday morning, Amazon announced that Saltburn will hit Prime Video on December 22. If that feels like too long of a wait, you should still have nearly three weeks (at least) to catch Saltburn on the silver screen. If you're too scared to watch Elordi and Keoghan unravel in public, then sit tight. Saltburn will be available to stream before you know it. Set your calendars for December 22, people.
