Not everyone has the time to cook a big Thanksgiving dinner at home.

Increasingly, many people prefer to find a restaurant for a nice meal with family and friends. If you're one of those people in Volusia and Flagler counties, you're in luck. Here's a list of some of the area restaurants The News-Journal has confirmed will be open on Thanksgiving day.

A couple of things to remember: Some restaurants requires or recommend reservations, so make them as soon as possible because your favorite may fill up quickly.

Also, many first-come, first-served restaurants recommend that you call before you come to get an idea of wait times and availability.
