The '90s cult classic Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead is getting a 21st century makeover that no one probably asked for, but content is king and here we are.

In the teaser for the remake (above), another family of rebellious youth take on an elderly caretaker who, spoiler alert, kicks the bucket. Nicole Richie gets to deliver the movie's most famous line...or at least she's about to before the teaser cuts her off.

That line is, of course, "I'm right on top of that, Rose," as instructed by Rose Lindsey (Joanna Cassidy) to Sue Ellen "Swell" Crandell (Christina Applegate) in the original 1991 film.

The quote has since become an all-purpose meme for the hard and hardly working.

According to the remake's logline, 17-year-old Tanya Crandell (Simone Joy Jones) can’t wait to spend the summer living it up with her friends in Spain before heading to Howard University in the fall. But when her mom (Ms. Pat) decides to head to a much-needed wellness retreat in Thailand, Tanya is forced to stay home with her three siblings instead.

Following the unexpected death of their elderly babysitter (Oscar-nominee June Squibb), Tanya gets a job working for the confident and ambitious Rose (Richie). Juggling work, family, and a complicated romance, Tanya faces the responsibility of adulthood at the cost of her summer of freedom.

The rest of the cast includes Donielle Tremaine Hensley, Jermaine Fowler, Miles Fowler, Iantha Richardson, Gus Kenworthy, and Tyriq Withers. Executive produced by Tyra Banks and directed by Wade Allain-Marcus (French Dirty) from a script by Emmy-nominated writer Chuck Hayward (Ted Lasso, WandaVision), the BET+ Original Film will open exclusively in theaters nationwide starting April 12.
