Donna Kelce's Sweetest Football Mom Moments

Travis and Jason Kelce's mom has made a name for herself as one of the NFL's most supportive parents

Donna Kelce is football's favorite mom!

Travis and Jason Kelce's mother stole hearts when she rooted for both of her sons as their respective teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, played each other in Super Bowl LVII. Donna showed her motherly support in a custom split jersey supporting the two opponents, and she's continued to cheer her sons on in their careers.

Donna, 70, recently made headlines again when she hung out with Travis' rumored new love interest, Taylor Swift, at two consecutive Kansas City Chiefs games. Donna and the "Cruel Summer" singer looked adorable on both occasions as they hung out in stadium suites.

Spending Quality Time with Taylor Swift

On Oct. 1 the NFL mom supported her son and Swift, who made a second appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game to cheer on Travis as his team played the New York Jets. Donna and Swift were seen hugging and giggling in their suite at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium alongside the singer's A-list pals.

While Travis and the "Bejeweled" singer are still in the early days of their rumored romance, a source close to the Kelce family told PEOPLE that “Donna likes Taylor and thinks she’s very sweet and down to earth."

Welcoming Taylor Swift to Arrowhead Stadium

Donna stuck by Swift's side during her first visit to Arrowhead Stadium for a Chiefs' home game in late September. The women — both dressed in red — were clearly quick to connect and shared laughs and smiles as Travis' team earned a win (he scored a touchdown, too!).

Hanging Out with Jake from State Farm

Before she flew to New Jersey to watch Travis with Swift, Donna supported her eldest, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason, during his game that same day, and sat with another famous friend: Jake from State Farm.

Jason shared an Instagram photo of his mom with the commercial actor (whose real name is Kevin Miles), writing in the caption, "I also have a superstar in my corner."

The mom of two continued the joke when she reposted the photo on her Instagram Story, nodding to Miles' plate of chicken tenders with ketchup. "No 'seemingly ranch' available at the Linc," Donna wrote, referring to a comment one fan account made about Swift's sauce choices at Arrowhead Stadium.

Celebrating Mother's Day

In May 2023, Donna told PEOPLE that between her to two pro athlete sons, her Mother's Days have always centered on sports.

"It was always a baseball game, a hockey game, a lacrosse game," she said, reflecting on the special springtime occasion. "It was always with other families and kids, and that's the best way to spend your Mother's Day."

And even though she loves her kids, she said there's one present she hopes not to open on any future Mother's Day occasions.

"The thing that would drive me nuts was when I would get a sweatshirt with [Travis and Jason's] faces on it," she said with a laugh. "As much as I loved it, I don't wear sweatshirts."

Rooting for Both Sons in the Super Bowl

Donna was faced with the ultimate parenting conundrum when Travis' Kansas City Chiefs and Jason's Philadelphia Eagles faced off in the Super Bowl in February 2023.

Ahead of the big game, Donna appeared on the Today show and discussed her Super Bowl allegiances. The mom of two explained that she planned to root for "the offense" and "every time somebody has a ball," but she did say that she favored her eldest son's squad for one very good reason.

"Jason would say I'm going to root for the baby of the family, which is Travis. And I keep telling him, 'No, you've given me grandchildren.' So we'll leave it at that," Donna said. "It's always about the grands."

While both teams put up a solid fight during the February game, Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs ended up winning the game by three points.

Rooting for Both Sons in the Super Bowl

Naturally unable to pick one side, the mom of two wore a custom split jersey with both teams' colors. She wore Travis' number, 87, on the front and Jason's number, 62, on the back.

Making the Hall of Fame

Donna's adorable dual-team outfit was so iconic that it earned its own spot in the Professional Football Hall of Fame.

"When @tkelce & @JasonKelce became the first brothers to play against each other in a Super Bowl, their mother, @dkelce1, earned national headlines," the Pro Football Hall of Fame wrote on X.

In addition to her famed jersey, Donna shared a photo of herself carrying a custom clear Sheer Gear bag with both boys' numbers and her nickname, Mama Kelce, on it.
