Donna Kelce appeared to take a page out of Scott Swift’s book with one sweet gesture to fans while at Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast live event on Thursday, April 11.

“Mama Kelce” was spotted inside the University of Cincinnati’s Fifth Third Arena hours before the live show began. Travis and Jason’s father, Ed Kelce, and Jason’s wife, Kylie, were also spotted in the audience as the event kicked off.

But before the show started, fan photos shared online showed Donna walking around with a box of Subway sandwiches, which she distributed to some New Heights fans. A video clip obtained by Page Six also showed the Kelce family matriarch handing out sandwiches while surrounded by fans.

Donna’s sandwich moment reminded many people who have closely followed Travis’ relationship with Taylor Swift of a similar move that the pop star’s father made during one of her recent Eras Tour shows in Sydney, Australia. In a video clip shared on social media, the proud father offered a platter covered in sandwiches to fans, a gesture that had fans quickly calling the “Cruel Summer” singer’s father “nice” and “sweet.”

One fan shared photos of the two incidents on X to demonstrate how similar the moments were.

Like Scott and Taylor’s mother, Andrea Swift, Donna and Ed have often appeared at NFL games and other public events in person to support their kids. The Kelces’ close relationships have made them one of professional football’s most beloved families of the moment, with fans continuing to track their activities several weeks after the 2023-2024 NFL season ended.

The New Heights live show at Travis and Jason’s alma mater served as the latest instance in which the family gathered publicly to support Travis, a tight end with the Kansas City Chiefs, and Jason, who retired last month following a 13-season NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles. In addition to Donna’s sandwich distribution and several hilarious moments during the show, the event also provided a sweet family memory for the Kelces as the brothers finally received their college diplomas.
