Donald Trump’s classified documents case seems to have a mountain of evidence against him after another former staffer revealed that he wasn’t very discreet about those top-secret papers. The former president’s aide, Molly Michael, shared some damning evidence with investigators that don’t exactly make Donald Trump look good.

Michael reportedly volunteered information about Donald Trump consistently writing to-do lists on the “back of notecards,” according to ABC News sources. When she took a closer look at what the former president was using for scrap paper, she realized it was often “sensitive White House materials with visible classification markings.” Oops! The documents made their way to Mar-a-Lago after his four-year term and were not a part of the FBI raid in August 2022 — it was Michael who reported them to the FBI a day after the official search.

She wasn’t done with investigators, though. It turns out that she voiced her concerns about “how Trump handled recurring requests from the National Archives for the return of all government documents being kept in boxes at Mar-a-Lago.” Michael didn’t believe his stories added up and that there was plenty of evidence to “disprove” his claims. Donald Trump reportedly started sweating once the FBI wanted to hear more from Michael about the documents and that’s when a source claimed the former president told her, “You don’t know anything about the boxes.”

Michael quit working for Donald Trump as his executive assistant last year after four years of employment. She felt that his “alleged refusal to comply with the federal requests and the FBI’s subsequent search of Mar-a-Lago” was problematic because there was plenty of evidence to the contrary. She is considered a key witness in special counsel Jack Smith’s case and her testimony could help seal Donald Trump’s fate after his reportedly reckless handling of top-secret documents.
