Donald Trump Tweet Trashes Michael Cohen After New Report Claims He Had Former Fixer Lie To Congress
Donald Trump finally “responded” to the blockbuster Buzzfeed report alleging he directed former fixer Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about the Trump Tower Moscow project.
Trump cited Fox News’ Kevin Corke in his tweet: “Don’t forget, Michael Cohen has already been convicted of perjury and fraud, and as recently as this week with Wall Street Journal has suggested he may have stolen tens of thousands of dollars…”

To which, Trump added, “Lying to reduce his jail time! Watch father-in-law!”
Buzzfeed did not interview Michael Cohen in its new report, instead citing unnamed investigators outside Robert Mueller’s investigation. Buzzfeed’s sources allege candidate Trump was involved in talks about a Trump Tower Moscow long after his claim they ended in January of 2016. The article also claims that Trump had instructed Cohen to lie about the timeline.
Though Twitter Trump had stayed far away from the subject of the damning report until 10-AM-ish, his latest personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani had responded with the statement, “If you believe Cohen I can get you a great deal on the Brooklyn Bridge.”
Which is not a denial, and, to repeat, Buzzfeed did not interview Cohen for its report.
Trump had focused his morning twitter workout on ginning up support for his Border Wall government shutdown:
“Border rancher: ‘We’ve found prayer rugs out here. It’s unreal’,” Trump tweeted this morning, citing a Washington Examiner report. “People coming across the Southern Border from many countries, some of which would be a big surprise,” he added.
“Another big Caravan heading our way. Very hard to stop without a Wall!” Trump added.
Trump also nicked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for trying to “leave the country with other Democrats on a seven day excursion” during the government shutdown. Trump reportedly had been very pleased Thursday with media reaction to his scrubbing her use of a military jet to travel to Brussels and Afghanistan, effectively canceling her trip – though he told her it would be okay if she wanted to fly into a war zone on a commercial flight. It was Trump’s way of punching back after Pelosi sent him a letter effectively blocking him from giving his SOTU address from the usual venue on the Hill, suggesting he submit it to Congress in writing or deliver it from the Oval Office.
Trump’s Border Wall tweets spoke to followers of Fox & Friends. While CNN’s New Day and MSNBC’s Morning Joe feasted on the bigger alleged-obstruction-of-justice report, F&F kicked off Friday with breaking news that Honduran migrants are in Mexico heading toward the U.S. southern border.
The obstruction-of-justice allegations have mesmerized Democrats in Washington since Thursday evening, with various politicos weighing in if-true-ily, via Twitter:
The allegation that the President of the United States may have suborned perjury before our committee in an effort to curtail the investigation and cover up his business dealings with Russia is among the most serious to date. We will do what’s necessary to find out if it’s true. https://t.co/GljBAFqOjh

Based on the Buzzfeed report and numerous other articles showing @realDonaldTrump committed Obstruction of Justice and other possible felonies, it is time for the House Judiciary Committee to start holding hearings to establish a record of whether @POTUS committed high crimes.

Based on this very incriminating Buzzfeed article, wondering if @realDonaldTrump is going to tweet "No Subornation of Perjury!" Doesn't quite roll off the tongue like "No Collusion!"
Oh, and here's a fun fact. Nixon resigned not because of the crime, but because of the cover up. https://t.co/zVMMwZEnjx

Why would Nancy Pelosi leave the Country with other Democrats on a seven day excursion when 800,000 great people are not getting paid. Also, could somebody please explain to Nancy & her “big donors” in wine country that people working on farms (grapes) will have easy access in!
