Donald Trump: “Now is the Time For America To Bind The Wounds Of Division”

Reality TV star turned next President of the United States Donald Trump gave a gracious, conciliatory victory speech after tonight’s grueling vote count, in keeping with the gracious and conciliatory victory speech he’d given after winning the primary season in his improbable GOP White House bid.

“Now is the time for Americans to bind the wounds of division,” our country’s 45th POTUS-elect said, during a victory celebration attended by supporters and covered on-site by the media he has consistently derided as disgusting, crooked, sleazy and liars, to the delight of his followers.

He vowed to quickly bring manufacturing back to U.S., and double economic growth.

Trump also pledged “to every citizen of our land that I will be president for all Americans.”

“And, this is so important to me, for those who have chosen not to support me… I’m reaching out to you for your guidance and your help, so we can work together and unify our great country,” said the candidate who has been blasted for calling Mexicans “rapists,” for mocking a disabled reporter, for vowing to ban Muslims from the country and for grading women based on their physical appearance.

“Ours was not a campaign but rather an incredible and great movement, made up of millions of hard working Americans who love their country, and want a better future for themselves and their families,” he said.

“I’ve spent my entire life in business looking at the untapped potential in projects and people all around the world. That is now what I want to do for our country,” he added.

Trump pledged to “fix our inner cities and rebuild our highways” vowing “our infrastructure will become second to none and will put millions of our people to work as we rebuild it.”

“No dream is too big, no challenge too great… America will no longer settle for anything less than the best,” and will “have the strongest economy anywhere in the world,” while forging the “greatest relationships” around the world, the real-estate developer promised.

Of tonight’s stunning victory, Trump said, “It has been what they call an historic event. But to be really historic, we have to do a great job. And I promise you I will not let you down. We will do a great job.”

“While the campaign is over, our work on this movement is really now just beginning.

“And I love this country.”

Trump delivered his speech early Wednesday morning, after after topping Clinton’s so-called blue wall of states, built to keep Dems in control of the White House. His victory shocked news pundits, and financial markets around the world.

Before Clinton called Trump to concede, her campaign broke with tradition, sending chairman John Podesta to the Javits Center instead of candidate Clinton to tell supporters the votes still were being counted and they should go home.
