Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un Lookalikes Crash Olympics Opening Ceremony
Two men dressed up as North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and U.S. President Donald Trump crashed the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony on Friday, but didn’t get to enjoy the festivities because they were promptly thrown out by security.
According to Reuters, the Kim lookalike said, “We’re getting along great,” but refused to give his name. “We wanted to surprise everyone and bring world peace and then we’re being escorted out by security guards, which I think is really unfair. Doesn’t everyone want peace?”
Kim’s sister, Kim Yo Jong, and U.S. Vice President Mike Pence sat in the stands as athletes from both North and South Korea entered the arena under a flag showing a unified Korea, according to Reuters.

“Is my sister getting the same treatment?” the Kim impersonator asked.
The 2018 Winter Olympics kicked off on Thursday in PyeongChang, South Korea. On Thursday, NBC broadcast featured figure skating, qualifying in the men’s and women’s moguls competitions, and qualifying in men’s ski jumping.

Of course, K-pop song “Gangnam Style” was very much a part of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony. Psy’s huge crossover hit was appropriately played during the American athletes’ Parade of Nations entrance. The international pop smash’s corresponding dance was simultaneously performed by the ring of dancers on the South Korean stadium centerstage, who looked like they enjoyed the welcome break from their regular routine.
