Donald Trump At Home Special Brings Golden Friday Ratings For Fox News

Don’t know what you got up to this weekend but Fox News Channel had a very good Friday night hanging out with Donald Trump – and it didn’t include a visit to see Hamilton with Mike Pence.

Browsing among the now President-elect’s beloved belongings in his NYC Trump Tower home, the Harvey Levin-hosted OBJECTified: Donald Trump brought in 4.03 million viewers for the cable news giant on November 18. A good number for any show that isn’t Blue Bloods on either cable or broadcast on a Friday, the one-hour special also had 965,000 viewers in the news demo of adults 25-54.

With Trump showing the TMZ boss his letter from Richard Nixon and his Apprentice boardroom chair, among others, the September 15 filmed special beat CNN’s Don Lemon and MSNBC’s The Last Word combined in the 10 PM hour. OBJECTified also was right on the tail of the 4.11 million who watched ABC’s 20/20 on Friday night and scored FNC its best Friday in a year.

Topping the previous end of week high of October 28, when FBI Director James Comey announced the bureau was looking into Hillary Clinton’s emails again, OBJECTified delivered FNC a 167% viewership rise and a 236% demo rise over the comparative night in 2015 – as golden as the décor on the walls of Trump’s penthouse.
