Donald Trump Accuses ‘SNL’ of ‘Hit Job,’ Bashes Alec Baldwin’s Performance

Alec Baldwin does not have a fan in Donald Trump.

The Republican presidential candidate ripped Baldwin in a tweet early Sunday morning, bashing Baldwin’s impression of him. He also accused “SNL” of doing a “hit job” on him in its parody of last Sunday’s town hall debate, and claimed the media is rigging the election.

“Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me,” Trump wrote. “Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!”

He later added, “The election is absolutely being rigged by the dishonest and distorted media pushing Crooked Hillary – but also at many polling places – SAD.”

Baldwin has been portraying Trump since the start of the 42nd season, which debuted three weeks ago. On this week’s show, “SNL” tackled everything from Trump’s stage-stalking of Hillary Clinton at the second debate to the sudden fame of Ken Bone.

“Tonight, I’m going to do three things,” Baldwin said as Trump in the cold open. “I’m going to huff. I’m going to puff. I’m going to blow this whole thing…”

Trump’s comments are unusual for a presidential candidate. In 2008, when Tina Fey was playing vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin in a series of sketches, Palin may have not been pleased, but she did agree to do a cameo before the election.

Trump hosted “Saturday Night Live” last November to protests and controversy.
