CANTON − Former NFL star Donald Driver's fitness center will hold its grand opening Wednesday at the Hall of Fame Village.
Discussed and planned since 2022, Driven Elite Fitness will be located on the ground level of the Village's Constellation Center for Excellence at 2014 Champions Gateway.
A ribbon-cutting event on Wednesday will unveil the facility. Local officials and community leaders will be in attendance, along with Driver, the former Green Bay Packers star wide receiver who founded Driven Elite.

Fitness center at HOF Village has soften opening
Canton's Driven Elite Fitness, which features the company's first Driven Elite HIIT studio, continues to hold a soft opening through Feb. 2, including free workout sessions. The first payment for memberships will start on Feb. 5, said Madison Zurakowski, public affairs specialist at the Hall of Fame Village. Driven Elite has certified trainers and offers a 45-minute full-body, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout. Workouts combine strength training and cardio movements for multiple reps at an intense pace, the Driven Elite website says.
The facility is open to all skill levels and ages, Zurakowski said. Adult fitness classes are also offered.
Specialized sports training will be offered at HOF Village dome
Driven Elite Sports Performance also will hold its official opening Wednesday at the Center for Performance dome on the Village campus. The Driven Elite Fitness offshoot offers group training and specialized programming for recreational activities, school teams (from elementary to high school), athletes and adults, Zurakowski said.
Athlete training programs focus on endurance, strength, stability, balance, injury prevention and explosiveness.
The Village is a 100-acre entertainment campus and development centered around the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. Attractions include restaurants, amusement rides and practice fields. Construction on an indoor water park is continuing and work on an adjacent hotel is expected to start this year.
