Don’t have Spotify Wrapped? Here's how to get your Apple Music Replay for 2023

It's that time of year again. Soon, our social media feeds will be filled with people sharing their Spotify Wrapped year in review, complete with minutes listened, favorite artists and bragging rights for ranking higher up in Taylor Swift's top listeners list than your friends.

While Spotify strikes up an annual buzz with its end-of-the-year feature that complies and processes users' listening habits, it is not the only music streaming service to offer stats like minutes listened, favorite songs and artists and how these compare to other users.

Apple Music vs. Spotify Wrapped

Apple Music users can also partake in the festivities with the tech company's own version of a year-in-review feature called "Replay."

Apple Music Replay 2023 officially launched on Tuesday, just before competitor Spotify released this year's Wrapped. Replay is also shareable and full of data about your listening habits, so no one has to be left out in the cold this music-sharing season regardless of what service you use.

Now sure where to find this feature? Here's a look at how to check out your Apple Music Replay 2023.

How to find your Apple Music Replay 2023

The quickest and easiest way to get to your replay is by going to replay.music.apple.com. Once signed in, you will be greeted with a message reading "This is your Replay" with a button inviting you to "jump in."

Here, your Highlight Reel will launch, bringing you to a slideshow-style presentation complete with how many minutes of music total you listened to, the number of artists, songs, albums and genres and your most listened to from each category.

There is also the option to explore a larger dashboard that provides additional information such as a longer list of artists with minutes listened for each, more listings for top albums, songs and genres and the option to listen to a customized playlist filled with your top songs.

How to use Apple Music Replay year-round

While the special Highlight feature is reserved for end-of-the-year reviews, Apple Music users can still access data about their listening habits after the clock strikes the new year. You can also look back at your reports from years passed.

To do so, open the Apple Music app and select "Listen Now." In this tab, scroll until you find a "Replay" playlist and you should see options not only to play your top songs of '23 but lists from years before, as well.

After selecting the "plus" button in the top right corner when viewing these Replay lists, they should become available to easily access through your music library's "playlist" tab.

How to share your Apple Music Replay for 2023

You can share individual components of your Replay on social media or with friends and family directly.

If you'd like the world to see your whole Highlight Reel, follow the instructions above to find and play it. As the reel plays, the usual "share" icon, which looks like a box with an arrow pointing outwards, appears at the bottom right of the screen. Simply click and choose how and where you would like to share.

This icon also appears on each individual section of the Replay dashboard in the bottom right corner. For example, you can choose just to share your list of top artists or top songs, giving you the choice to only put out there what you really want people to see.
