Don King has arrived in Major League Wrestling.

At MLW Never Say Never, the mystery regarding the identity of Bomaye Fight Club’s financial backer was finally solved. A video package on the July 5 episode of MLW Fusion named Dixie Carter, Conrad Thompson, Queen Latifah, and Jim Cornette as some suspects, but the mystery man turned out to be Don King.

The legendary boxing promoter appeared in a video package at MLW Never Say Never, and he was announced as the stable’s financial backer. He told Alex Kane to win the world title for the group; Kane later challenged Alex Hammerstone for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.

Outside of wrestling, Kane is part of boxing history, as he promoted “The Rumble in the Jungle” and the “Thrilla in Manila”. Among other fighters, King has promoted names like Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Mike Tyson, and Evander Holyfield.
