Dominik Mysterio had a brief response when asked whether he wanted to be the one to retire his father, Rey Mysterio.
Speaking at a live taping of Cheap Heat ahead of WWE WrestleMania 40, Dominik Mysterio discussed his goals moving forward. He expressed his interest in challenging for titles but noted that he takes things a day at a time.
When asked whether retiring Rey Mysterio and taking his mask was a goal, Dominik Mysterio simply replied, “Do bears shit in the woods?”
Peter Rosenberg then pointed out that bears take care of business wherever they can.
Dominik Mysterio previously teamed up with Rey, and they won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship together. In 2022, Dominik turned on Rey and joined the Judgment Day. They feuded for months and faced off at WrestleMania 39, where Rey scored the win. The father-son duo clashed again at WrestleMania 40. There, Rey and Santos Escobar beat Dominik and Santos Escobar.
