Dominik Mysterio is currently sidelined.

On the April 22 episode of WWE RAW, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh were set to face Andrade and Ricochet. However, early on in the show, Dominik approached Damian Priest backstage, and he had his arm in a sling. He told his Judgment Day stablemate that he was a little banged up, so he had Santos Escobar take his place in the tag team match.

Mysterio last wrestled on the April 15 episode of WWE RAW. There, he lost to Andrade. McDonagh and Mysterio attacked Andrade after the bell, but Ricochet made the save. WWE then announced the initially planned tag team match. Mysterio did not compete during WWE’s tour in the United Kingdom.

Update: Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Mysterio’s injury is said to be legitimate. As of this writing, there is no word on a timetable for his return.

Additional details are unclear at this time. WrestleZone wishes Dominik well in his recovery, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
