Dolphins CB Keion Crossen played entire season with torn labrum

For the Miami Dolphins, injuries were a common theme of their 2022 season with a number of key contributors missing time.

That was especially the case in the secondary, as Byron Jones missed the whole year following Achilles surgery, Nik Needham tore his Achilles and both Brandon Jones and Trill Williams suffered torn ACLs.

Miami was forced to rely on depth players like Keion Crossen to fill the void. However, after their elimination from the postseason, Crossen posted on social media that he had surgery to fix a torn labrum that he played with for the entire season.

The core special teamer stepped in and really contributed in his first year in Miami, even working through a painful injury to make sure his team wouldn’t be down another member of their secondary.
