There might just be a country classic featured on Beyoncé's new album.

In an interview with Knox News on Friday for the 2024 season opening of Dollywood, Dolly Parton revealed that one of her most famous songs — "Jolene" — might be featured on the "Formation" artist's forthcoming country album, Act II.

When asked if rumors that Beyoncé, 42, recorded the country icon's classic were true, Parton, 78, said: “Well, I think she has! I think she's recorded ‘Jolene’ and I think it's probably gonna be on her country album, which I'm very excited about that."

“I love her!” the "I Will Always Love You" performer said of Beyoncé. “She's a beautiful girl and a great singer.”

Parton said that she and the 32-time Grammy winner have kept in touch over the years.

“We've kind of sent messages back and forth through the years. And she and her mother were like fans, and I was always touched that they were fans, and I always thought she was great,” the 9 to 5 actor told the outlet.

Last month, Parton also praised Beyoncé after her single "Texas Hold 'Em" — which she premiered during the 2024 Super Bowl — debuted atop of the Hot Country chart. She also made history when she became the first Black woman to ever reach No. 1 on the country chart thanks to “Texas Hold 'Em."

“I’m a big fan of Beyoncé and very excited that she’s done a country album,” she wrote in a statement via Instagram. “So congratulations on your Billboard Hot Country number one single.”

Parton added that she “can’t wait to hear the full album!”

Her message came after the pop star revealed that the second act of her Renaissance album would be country. The first act focused on dance tracks.

Beyoncé announced Act II during the Super Bowl on Feb. 11. In a commercial for Verizon that aired during the game, the actor/singer, who had already broken the internet in the clip, tried her best to break the company’s 5G cellular network.

When none of her attempts prevailed, Beyoncé had one last idea: To “drop the new music.”

Her rollout included two new singles, “Texas Hold 'Em” and “16 Carriages." However, she appeared to be hinting at the genre shift for a while.

At the 2024 Grammys, Beyoncé rocked a cowgirl hat, studded leather suit and a lace necktie that also resembled a bolero tie.
