Dolly Parton recreated her famous 1978 Playboy shoot for her husband Carl Dean on his 79th birthday.

The Jolene singer, 75, wore a Playboy bunny suit as her present to Dean, whom she married in 1966.

Parton spoke about the surprise in an Instagram post, mentioning her past comments on wanting to pose again on the cover to mark her 75th birthday and saying it wasn't possible as it's no longer in print so she made her own version instead.

“Remember some time back I said I was going to pose on Playboy magazine when I’m 75? Well, I’m 75 and they don’t have a magazine anymore, but my husband always loved the original cover of Playboy," she shared.

“So I was trying to think of something to do to make him happy. He still thinks I’m a hot chick after 57 years and I’m not going to try to talk him out of that.”

Parton explained she wore the outfit – complete with bunny ears – for a photoshoot and had her own new cover made.

Comparing it with the original, she said: “I was kind of a little butterball in that one, well I’m string cheese now. But he’ll probably think I’m cream cheese – I hope!”
