On Wednesday (Sept. 6), Doja Cat shocked fans with a photo of herself in a neck brace. With no explanation, the “Attention” rapper uploaded the concerning images to Instagram, where she wears glasses and a pin-striped blazer.

“I’m fine my neck is fine,” she reassured her fans in the post’s caption. Many still felt the need to question her condition.

Additionally, Doja uploaded a carousel of images, including a screenshot of an episode from The Steve Wilkos Show. The episode and her post were captioned with “before the test he confessed,” continuing to leave many puzzled.

The “Paint The Town Red” rhymer has not explained if she was injured or not, or if the brace was a prop for NYFW — which she was in town for, attending a few events. However, social media had much to say.

“That’s what happens when you crawl around on the ceiling,” wrote one person underneath her photo, referring to her latest music video for, “Demons.” Another person commented, “You’re not fine, go see a therapist lol.”

On the flip side, another person said, “It’s a fashion thing. You wouldn’t understand,” as someone else wrote, “Ur carrying rap so hard u broke ur neck.. bless ur soul (if u have one left).”

The 27-year-old is gearing up for the release of her fourth studio album, Scarlet, which will release on Sept. 22.

Ahead of its drop, the award-winning artist has released three visuals to accompany her aforementioned singles “Attention,” “Paint The Town Red,” and “Demons” — which have all garnered mixed views.

In support of her forthcoming project, she’s also announced her album-titled tour with guests Ice Spice and Doechii. The 24-date trek kicks off in The Bay Area at San Francisco’s Chase Center on Halloween night (Oct. 31), before wrapping in Chicago on Dec. 13.
