Upon the release of her fourth studio album Scarlet today (Sept. 22), Doja Cat has debuted its fourth single and video for “Agora Hills.”

In the Hannah Lux Davis-directed video (“Kill Bill,” and “Barbie World“), Doja’s “estranged dreams come to life in a home-movie style video mixed with apocalyptic vibes,” says a press release. Davis also describes “Agora Hills” as “disconcertingly hot; shot in a liminal space and featuring a variety of versions of Doja herself embodying her different styles and personalities.”

The single — which samples a slowed down version of Troop’s 1989 hit, “All I Do Is Think Of You” — hears Doja switching up her sound from her hard-hitting delivery to a softer, Pop/R&B tone. The visual starts out with the “Paint The Town Red” artist floating between the aftermath of an disaster and a serene setting.

Trading sounds between a tatted, short-cut Doja and her in a pink pixie angel getup, she raps, “‘Cause love is pain, but I need this sh*t/ We f**k too good when the bean kicks in/ Like Fortnite, I’ma need your skin/ Don’t give a f**k where the penis been/ Boy, you’re the one, you’re the only man/ Me and you on my OnlyFans/ Holy cow, you’re the Holy Trin’/ Hold me down when a hole need d*ck/ Be my security, it’s your therapy.”

“Agora Hills,” spelled slightly differently than the California city of Agoura Hills, follows Doja’s last single and video for “Demons.” The latter, which is drastically different than the softer sound of “Agora Hills,” was performed recently at the 2023 MTV VMAs. Doja also gave a live rendition of “Attention” and “Paint The Town Red.”

Fans can also expect to see the 27-year-old perform songs from Scarlet, along with special guests Ice Spice and Doechii, on the album’s tour, kicking off Halloween night (Oct. 31).
