Doja Cat is looking to bring The Scarlet Tour to fans uniquely. The 28-year-old star has partnered with Meta to premiere a virtual reality iteration of her latest trek.

Meta announced the virtual reality experience on Tuesday (Jan. 9). Doja Cat: The Scarlet Tour in VR will take place on Jan. 20 and will be available for free via Meta’s Horizon Worlds’ Music Valley. For those who can’t tune in live, replays will occur the weeks after. Those interested in taking part can RSVP on oculus.com.

“Filmed at the sold-out Detroit stop of Doja Cat’s debut arena tour, this VR concert will feature Doja’s most popular songs from The Scarlet Tour including ‘Paint the Town Red,’ ‘Agora Hills,’ ‘Woman,’ and more,” the press release read. “Experience the gigantic spider looming above Doja Cat during her performance and see the full band and fire pyrotechnics, right in your living room.”

Doja Cat’s The Scarlet Tour supported her fourth studio album Scarlet which came out in September 2023. The 17-track album was a complete solo endeavor for the Los Angeles artist, which she preceded with the singles “Attention,” “Demons,” “Balut,” and former Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 record “Paint The Town Red.”

Scarlet debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and sold 72,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. It was a significant drop from the performance of her June 2021 album Planet Her, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and sold 109,000 units in its first week.

Planet Her added to her already impressive number of Grammy nominations, which currently sit at 19 with one victory. Doja is up for three awards at the forthcoming Grammy show: Best Pop Solo Performance (“Paint The Town Red”), Best Melodic Rap Performance (“Attention”), and Best Rap Song (“Attention”).
