Doja Cat has come into 2024 blazing as she’s made history as the first woman in rap to have two Top 10 solo songs on the Billboard Hot 100.

Doja’s “Agora Hills” now sits at No. 10 while “Paint the Town Red” holds the fourth slot, according to Chart Data.

The Scarlet artist now has nine Top 10 singles overall.

Besides the aforementioned records, other singles that have topped the charts are “Say So,” her 2020 feature on Ariana Grande’s “34 + 35,” “Kiss Me More” featuring SZA, Post Malone‘s “I Like You,” “Woman,” “Need To Know,” and “Vegas.”

Doja’s year is just getting started as she’s rumored to headline Coachella 2024, along with Tyler, The Creator and Lana Del Rey. She also just wrapped her Scarlet tour which kicked off in The Bay Area at San Francisco’s Chase Center and concluded in Chicago on Dec. 13.

Doechii and Ice Spice also accompanied her on the 24-date trek.

The eccentric rapper/singer spoke with Ebro Darden for Apple Music last year, where she explained a few misconceptions about herself.

“One thing I do wanna set straight is: You’ll never see a direct quote of me saying I hate my fans,” she referred to a post she made in 2023 on X. “Not once. But it’s a really big misquoted thing. Everybody is saying she hates her fans. Never said that, but I do like to play with that as a meme. I know that people who get it, get it. And I’m fine with that.”

She further explained, “I don’t have to explain my sense of humor and explain comedy to anyone. If people don’t see the joke, then they just don’t see the joke, and it’s not my responsibility to have them understand.”

Declaring that she’s not able to please everyone, she said, “I’m not gonna make everyone happy, and that’s just that. I’m just not, and I know that I’m not, so that’s freed me immensely.”
