Ahead of Doja Cat’s 28th birthday, she received an early present from an R&B vet.

The Scarlet rapper attended Usher’s longstanding Las Vegas residency on Friday (Oct. 20), where he serenaded her with “There Goes My Baby” — a staple moment during the show.

As the Raymond vs. Raymond crooner spotted Doja in the crowd, he sang the hit song to her, holding her hand as they danced slowly. “Doja Cat, ladies and gentlemen,” he announced to the crowd as they cheered.

See below.

During his moment with Doja, he also switched up the lyrics a bit.

“Bet you ain’t know that I was checking you out when you was putting your stilettos on/ Swear your body’s so perfect, baby, how you work it baby/ I love the way that you be poking it out,” he sang, swapping the original word “heels” for “stilettos.”

The 45-year-old has already made memorable moments during his residency with Keke Palmer, Winnie Harlow, Chlöe Bailey, 21 Savage, Queen Latifah and more.

On Doja’s actual birthday, Saturday (Oct. 21), the “Attention” rapper requested that her fans tell her “Happy Birthday” or she’ll “never be friends” with them and “cry.”

Her comment section immediately filled with celebratory sentiments.

Additionally, Doja posted again promoting new merch for her upcoming Scarlet tour with guests Ice Spice and Doechii.

She uploaded two posts showing off a T-shirt that reads, “I need Penis,” but penis is scratched out with “Jesus,” written under it.

“All new doja cat merch NOT available now on DojaCat dot com I am amala,” she wrote, clearing up that the merch isn’t available just yet. “I made a [mistake] and i thought it was available but it’s coming soon sorry guys.”
