Keanu Reeves’ Dogstar Playing First Show in Two Decades at BottleRock Festival

Dogstar is back. The ’90s rock band featuring Keanu Reeves on bass will make its first public appearance in two decades on May 27 at the BottleRock Festival in Napa, Ca. In addition to Reeves, the band features guitarist/vocalist Bret Domrose and drummer Rob Mailhouse.
Dogstar also has a new album on the way, which will be its first since 2000’s Happy Ending (Ultimatum Music). According to a press release, the band will debut songs from said album at the festival.

Dogstar been teasing a reunion in recent weeks on its Instagram account, where it has shared photos and videos from its rehearsals, recording sessions, and some of its first shows from years ago.
Dogstar was active from 1991 into the early 2000s. During its heyday, the group opened for David Bowie and Bon Jovi, and appeared at such prestigious festivals as Glastonbury in 1999. Dogstar hasn’t performed live since an October 2002 show in Japan.
