'Dog the Bounty Hunter' star Beth Chapman to undergo chemo while filming new reality show with husband

“Dog the Bounty Hunter” and his wife, Beth Chapman, are ready to make “history,” as they gear up to premiere a new reality series on WGN America amid treatment for Beth’s throat cancer.

After announcing in early January that the pair have found a new network for their reality show, Duane “Dog” Chapman’s wife has taken to Instagram again to drop a hint about the struggle she’ll be facing in front of the camera.

The selfie featuring her long blond hair was captioned “history in the making,” alongside the hashtags #dogsmostwanted, #cancersucks and #itsonlyhair. Quickly, fans gathered that the post might be signaling that they’ll be along for Beth’s tumultuous journey with chemotherapy.

Beth underwent emergency surgery for a throat blockage obstructing her airways in November before announcing that she had once again been diagnosed with throat cancer. The reality star first faced that diagnosis in 2017 when she found out that she had Stage 2 throat cancer. And again, she seems committed to not letting it slow her down.

“Beth started chemo for throat cancer last month. The treatments are in L.A. They are going well, but they certainly take their toll on her,” the family’s attorney, Andrew R. Brettler of Lavely & Singer, told Us Weekly.

Still, the 51-year-old is already “Back to work!” according to a photo posted by Duane of Beth alongside family members and co-stars of the upcoming show.
