Dog the Bounty Hunter Says Rumored GF Could Never Replace Late Wife Beth

Duane "Dog" Chapman is shooting down claims he's moved on to a romantic relationship with a woman he's known for years, but he's not ruling out a future romance and admitting that things are lonely without his wife, Beth Chapman. The bounty hunting reality star finally broke his silence about the rumors strewn about from his daughter, "Baby" Lyssa Chapman.

Lyssa claims a longtime employee of the family bail bonds business, Moon Angell, has made a play to win Dog over and move in on him during a vulnerable time. She has publicly called him out, and literally eviscerated Moon on Twitter during a heated online argument.

She's Trustworthy

Speaking to Radar Online, Dog the Bounty Hunter finally set the record straight about what's going on with Moon.

"Moon has been a trustworthy and loyal friend to me for over 20 years. She has been with my family through many ups and downs,” Dog told the outlet.

He continued, “All my children are grown and gone on their own, there’s no one left to help me!”

Dog also admitted that a future romance is not out of the question, as there's no reason he needs to be "sad" for the rest of his life.

'There Will Never Be Another Mrs. Dog'

"Moon is experienced. It’s just that. Who knows what my future holds, but right now I need her,” he explained.

Dog added, “There will never be another Mrs. Dog but that doesn’t mean I have to be so sad.” The reality star claims he asked God to send him a friend, and Moon has since stepped up and fulfilled that role during such a trying time.

He told Radar, "I know Almighty God hears my broken heart and I didn’t ask him for another Mrs. Chapman, but I asked him for a friend and He gave me Moon.”

Dog Supports Moon

Along with his interview, Dog showed public support for Moon by taking a photo with her for his Instagram page.

"Thank you MOON !!!!" he captioned the shot of himself giving a thumbs up while posing next to the smiling woman.

However, it seems Dog's children have been united against Moon and feel he's making a bad decision by continuing a friendship or relationship with her. Lyssa also claims Moon has moved her clothes into Beth Chapman's old closet and got rid of the reality star's clothes. Dog has not yet commented on those specific claims.
