Does Newly Single Rihanna Have a Thing with A$AP Rocky?
Earlier this week it was reported that singer Rihanna broke up with her boyfriend, Hassan Jameel. The two kept their relationship extremely quiet. If we didn't get to see random, paparazzi pictures of her and Jameel on vacation or out and about, we may have never known that they were dating. You will not be surprised to know then that we have no idea why they broke up.
However, some are suggesting that Rihanna has already moved on. Who's she supposedly hooking up with? Longtime friend and rapper, A$AP Rocky.

Pair Spotted Getting Cozy Post-Split
Just a few hours after her reported split with Jameel, Rihanna was spotted getting comfortable and cozy with A$AP Rocky. The two artists were caught backstage at the 2020 Yams Day Benefit Concert in New York City together, with even a few photos as proof.
The two artists are rumored to have been linked in the past, but there has never been any proof of a past romance or a confirmation of one by either of them. So we've all been left to wonder about their actual relationship status.

As the pair celebrated the life of late A$AP Mob member, A$AP Yams, there were photos taken of them that make it look like they could be a match made in heaven. They're both laughing it up and appear to be relaxed around one another.
Drake, who professes his dying love for Rihanna every chance he gets, was also in attendance at the benefit concert. No confirmed interaction took place between the two but we imagine seeing Rihanna cozy up to another must have been awkward.
They Both Insist Nothing is Going On
I don't know if the rumored couple has forgotten, but back in 2013, they were caught on camera making out on the set of a music video (while the cameras weren't rolling). There's still hope for them as lovers in our world.
But just like back then, they are denying that anything is happening now. A close source reported to Us Weekly that the two are just close friends and nothing more. “A$AP has always thought Rihanna was cool and gorgeous. But they have way more of a best friend [or] cousin relationship," the source said.
Maybe They Just Want Privacy
Rihanna has never been one to be super open about her personal life. Even when asked if she would marry Jameel, who's she's been linked to for almost three years, she told Interview Magazine, "Only God knows that, girl. We plan and God laughs, right?”
If Rihanna and A$AP Rocky WERE dating, we'd probably never know. At least, not unless they miraculously deemed us worthy to confess to. However, I don't think it's silly to hold out hope for these two. Especially because we have proof of romantic attraction based on that 2013 kiss. Only time, and hopefully Rihanna, will tell.
