Spring training is right around the corner with MLB clubs reporting to Arizona later this month.

Here's what you need to know about some key dates this season.

When do pitchers and catchers report to spring training?

In the Cactus League in Arizona, pitchers and catchers report for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Colorado Rockies, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels, Oakland Athletics and Texans Rangers on Wednesday, Feb. 15.

Those players report for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants and Seattle Mariners on Thursday, Feb. 16 with Cleveland Guardians players reporting on Friday, Feb. 17.

When do position players report for spring training?

Position players are scheduled to report for every Cactus League team on either Monday, Feb. 20, or Tuesday, Feb. 21.

When do spring training 2023 games start in Arizona?

Spring training games begin in Arizona on Friday, Feb. 24, with the Mariners at the Padres and the Rangers at the Royals.

Saturday, Feb. 25 is the first full day on the 2023 Cactus League spring training schedule with the Angeles at Mariners, Giants at Cubs, Padres and White Sox, Royals at Rangers, Dodgers at Brewers, Guardians at Reds and split-squad Diamondbacks teams playing at the Athletics and hosting the Rockies.

When does spring training 2023 end in Arizona?

The Cactus League is home to 15 MLB teams for spring training and is scheduled to run through March 28.

When is Opening Day 2023?

The 2023 MLB season is scheduled to begin with Opening Day on Thursday, March 30, with every team scheduled to play that day for the first time since 1968.
